Charity Quiz in St George’s Hall
There will be a Charity Quiz, in aid of the National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s disease (NACC) at St George’s Hall on 11th November. Doors open at 1930hrs and the quiz will start at 2000hrs. Cost will be £1 per person and there will also be a raffle with some great prizes donated from local businesses.
Station Bonfire Night
The Station Bonfire Night will be held on the Black Top Car Park on Thursday 3rd November. Gates open at 1800 hrs with live music from local band ‘Afterglow’ from 1800 – 1900hrs. The bonfire will be lit at 1900hrs with the firework display starting at 1920 hrs. There will be food and refreshments available throughout the event and a funfair and stalls. Tickets are available in advance from the Community Support Hub and Central Registry at a cost of £2 per person until 1300 hrs on Thursday 3rd November. Free tickets for deployed families are also available from the Community Support Hub. Entry on the night will be £3.00 per person. Under 5’s go free.
Please note that NO Sparklers, Dogs or personal Fireworks are permitted at the event.
RAFA Top Gun Event
RAFA will be hosting a TOP GUN event on Thursday 10th November to coincide with the opening of the newly refurbished Grafton Club. The event will be open to all ranks and should be a great night with the possibility of a guest DJ and celebrities in attendance. Tickets for the event will be limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis. Look out for further details.
St Martin at Shouldham School will be holding a Christmas Market on Friday 11th November from 1730 – 2000 hrs. There will be a variety of Stalls, Food and Drink and a Santa’s Grotto.
