Marham SSAFA Community Volunteers, Rebecca Bartholomew and Michelle Morano, were recently acknowledged in the SSAFA Volunteer Awards for their work at Marham.

They have supported countless families and individuals with a mix of compassion, dedication and humility. Their commitment and readiness to help others has always been evident.

During 2010 to 2011 they have supported families with young children and babies, children with additional needs and parents with long-term health and mobility challenges. Both ladies always display the utmost care in maintaining their clients’ dignity and confidentiality whilst  promoting the SSAFA ethos of “helping those to help themselves”.

The SSAFA committee would also like to say farewell to the chair Deborah Stewart and welcomes Caroline Henry who has volunteered to take on the role.
