National Volunteers Week

From 1st – 7th June 2011 the UK holds its National Volunteers Week.

Volunteers’ Week is an annual event which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK, while inspiring others to get involved.

This year RAF Marham and the community will be getting involved with volunteers week and offering up the opportunity to get involved with one of the many projects around Station, the service families accommodation and the community. In the next issue of Marham Matters we will provide a list of the different projects that you could get involved with. If you see something on the list that is important to you and you want to get involved and help support the community in which we all work and live just pass your details to the hub.

If you have a good idea for a project in the community, please get in touch with Rita the Community Development Officer on Ext: 7884 or leave the details in the CS Hub.
