Thursday 7th March 2013 World Book Day

Thursday 7th March 2013 was International World Book Day, as part of their week of activities promoting reading, children at Marham Junior School dressed up as their favourite book character.

Assisted by parents and RAF volunteers, the children worked on a number of book challenges including, completing a ‘read-a-thon,’ writing letters of apology from Goldilocks to the three bears and finding the ‘real Wally’ hiding in the school.

Hedgehogs class said “World Book Day was great fun as everybody got to dress up and learn about each other’s characters.”  During book week the school managed to raise funds through the book fair and spend over £600 on new books for the Library!
