The Media, Communications & Engagements Office
The Media, Communications and Engagement Office is responsible for promoting an understanding of the role of RAF Marham and the wider RAF, through engagement with internal and external organisations.
We welcome anyone who wishes to discuss articles for Marham Matters, RAF News and other publications/TV/radio. We are the first point of contact for all charity and fundraising events, where we can also assist by achieving publicity. All enquiries for potential station visits and engagement opportunities (talks, presentations and functions) should also be channelled through this office. We offer general and pre-deployment media training and guidance on the use of social networking sites.
We are responsible for the organisation of the Year 10 Work Experience Programme, all enquiries regarding work experience should directed to this office.
All personnel are reminded that all charity events and visits (on and off station) are to be authorised through the Media, Communications and Engagement office prior to any firm arrangements being made.

Alison Childerhouse is the Media and Communications Officer for RAF Marham and oversees the release of media, photography and publicity material for the station. The role of the MCO is to promote an in depth understanding of the role of the RAF and in particular RAF Marham.
Clare Smith is the Deputy MCO. Included in Clare’s role is Editor of Marham Matters. All articles and notices for the magazine should be forwarded to Clare and submitted as a word attachment with pictures attached separately and not embedded in the article.
