Tactical Imagery Intelligence (TIW) Complete the Grand East Anglia Run

A team of runners from RAF Marham’s, TIW (Tactical Imagery-Intelligence Wing) headed by the Officer Commanding, Wing Commander Andy Stewart, gave up their Bank Holiday Sunday to run in the 10k Great East Anglian Run in aid of their wing charity The Anthony Nolan Trust.

They all successfully completed the course with some staggering times to their credit and raised well over £450 with money still coming in.

Wing Commander Andy Stewart and Major Gary Walker handed over the cheque to the Anthony Nolan charity co-ordinator for TIW, Janet Short who was at the event with other members of TIW to cheer their colleagues on.

The next event is a sky dive event which if you would like to sponsor please contact Janet Short who herself is participating, and this will be happening on 8th June 2011.

There is also the next annual Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Recruitment Clinic at RAF Marham on 6th July 2011.

If you would like to know more please contact Janet Short on Ext: 6292.
