Story Sacks

Marham Mums tell a Story

Six Marham parents have been busy telling stories to their children during a recent course in The Station Library. Norfolk family learning ran a course for parents to make story sacks. Parents have decorated a sack, collected characters and made artefacts to suit their chosen story books. “I have thoroughly enjoyed making something for my son to extend his reading skills” said one mum. The course ran for ten weeks and supplied a crèche into which the children settled very quickly. The parents have enjoyed the course so much that they are talking about making more sacks and running another course. A course will be running in September so if you are interested please contact Sam at The Station Library.
