Staying in Touch with Your Loved Ones While They are out of Area

If you currently have loved ones Out of Area you may interested to hear that the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) has launched ‘Boost for the Boys’.

Using the ‘Boost for the Boys’ webpage you can record and upload messages for family and friends wherever they are in the Forces world. The service is free and simple to use.

For iPhone users, leaving an audio message is even easier thanks to the new BFBS app, which can be downloaded from the iTunes store for free.

All of the recorded messages are then played on BFBS Radio to Forces listeners around the world, and in the UK on DAB Digital Radio. The messages are also uploaded onto the ‘Boost for the Boys’ webpage on Audioboo, meaning you can listen again to your message if you miss it on BFBS.

BFBS is available on DAB Digital Radio in the UK, on FM across the Forces world, on Sky Guide 0211, Freesat Channel 786, www.bfbs.com, and via the BFBS smartphone app. The BFBS app can be downloaded from iTunes or the Android Market for free. It contains a host of features to help you get more out of your Forces station wherever you are.
