Snow & Ice Clearance

Members from TIW were called into action to assist in clearing the snow and ice from the Marham Infants School playground.

In bright sunny but freezing conditions the team got stuck into breaking up the compacted snow in order to make the play area safe for the children to play on.

The assistance was organised by Flt Sgt Paul Knott who, when the weather showed no sign of a thaw, gathered together an impromptu working party to clear the worst of the ice and snow. Marham Infants was one of the few schools in the area to remain open during the freeze and the efforts of the TIW team were warmly welcomed by the School Head who expressed her thanks on behalf of the school for the excellent support.
