Scotty’s Little Soldiers Charity Run

Recently, three Survival Equipment Fitters (Squippers), Cpl Dan Tasker, SAC Luke Tibble and SAC Steve Lock, from RAF Marham, completed a tiring two and a half laps of the perimeter track – approximately 13 and a half miles, for the local Charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

This is a charity dedicated to supporting the children of men and women who have fallen whilst serving with the British Armed Forces. As parents ourselves this is a subject that is close to our hearts.
In preparation we ran three times a week (a minimum of six and a half miles) around Marham Village and the Perimeter Road and took part in bi weekly physical circuit sessions. By the end of the 13 and a half miles we were all very tired, suffering from blisters and stiff legs – but glad to have finished it and raised a total of £324.09 for Scotty’s!
