Run, Walk & Crawl? The Cornish Coastal Path

For some time now I seem to have enjoyed the odd challenge and now I am in my final year of service I have decided to do a challenge that will surely push me to my limits.

The challenge is to run/walk and possibly crawl along the Cornish Coastal Path starting in Bude and finishing in Falmouth! The running will start on the 22nd July and I hope to finish on the 27th July covering a total distance of 216 miles.

I will be running this in aid of Pink Wig Events which is a breast cancer charity that donate 100% of all donations to local and national causes. Pink Wig Event is a charity that was founded by Sally Hicks-Wood who is the mother of a close friend. A survivor of breast cancer herself she has been working tirelessly since raising money to help beat breast cancer. 1 in 8 women in the UK are affected by breast cancer and surprisingly (to myself at least) 350 men are also affected each year.

I am writing this article in the hope that I can raise as much money as possible in order to donate to the charity. Last year the Pink Wigger’s raised £13,000 and this year I hope to help them beat it. In short if there is anyone who would like to sponsor me then you can either bring it to me in 1 hangar, pass on to anyone in 1 hangar who can pass it on to me.

Any help for this great cause will be much appreciated. You can visit the Pink Wig Event website as well at www.pinkwigevent.org.uk.
