Marham Welcomes New Senior Chaplain

May I take this opportunity to introduce myself as, Padre Ashley Mitchell, the new Senior Chaplain at RAF Marham, taking over from Padre Andrew Jones at the beginning of March.

Like my predecessor, I was born and brought up in South Wales, I then went on to university in Leeds and Cambridge before being ordained and serving as Minor Canon at St Asaph Cathedral in North Wales.

I have been a Service Chaplain for the past 15 years and have served in several locations including Wittering, Cosford, Amport House, Odiham and High Wycombe, along with plenty of Out of Area deployments including the early days of Op ELLAMY.

I have moved to Marham with my wife Felicity and my daughter Alesha and we are very much looking forward to being part of RAF Marham and exploring Norfolk and the surrounding area.
