Marham Village Fun Day
The Station and Village are holding a combined Fun Day on the Black Top Car Park and adjacent playing field on Sunday 5th July.
The day will start at 8am with a Car Boot Sale, will move on to the ‘Marham Flyers’ 10k Run and Children’s 1k Fun Run at 11am, at which point the Fun Day itself will open.
A large number of stall holders are already booked to attend, together with various exhibitors ranging from classic cars to motorbikes. There will also be lots there to entertain the children, in addition to the usual range of food stalls. The King’s Arms at Shouldham are providing a ‘Pop Up Pub’ and our own Catering team are providing the burger stand.
The Car Boot Sale is already taking bookings and anybody wishing to have a spot can pre-book by contacting Debbie Speers on 01760 337261 Ext: 7205 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org, pre book spaces can be booked at £5 (Vans £10) per pitch or £10 (Vans £15) if you just turn up on the day.
The Fun Run is being organised by OC Community Support and all the details, including the application form can be found on the Marhamhub website. Alternatively call into the HIVE to sign up or email: email@example.com for the details. The run promises to be very competitive for those who wish to race but all are welcome to participate, so why not just use it as an opportunity to get some exercise out around the Station.
The Children’s 1k fun run, which was very popular last year, will take place around the Fitness Trail. No need to pre-book for this. Just turn up on the day.
Details and the Stall Holders application form for those wishing to have a stall at the event can also be found on the Marhamhub website.
The funds raised from the day are going towards the Village Sign Appeal, RAF BF and RAFA.
It is hoped as many from the Station as possible will attend and, where appropriate participate in order to make the day the success the organisers are hoping for, in support of the charities.
