The RAF Marham Bluebirds stayed close to the nest for their recent charitable donation.
They were pleased to be able to present £500 to the chaplaincy centre.
The chaplaincy centre is the home to Bluebirds, where they spend many days and nights rehearsing and performing. The donation for the church will be going towards a new electronic piano for use in church services. They were also joined by local members of the forces charity SSAFA. SSAFA do great work in supporting the members of the armed forces and their families and we were pleased to be able to help our local branch here at Marham with a donation of £500. The station commander Group Captain D J E Cooper ADC MA BEng RAF was there to witness the charitable donations along with many other RAF personnel and family members. The money was raised through various performances and a fantastic pamper evening held last year at Marham.
