Go On… Be a Hero!
On 22nd November personnel from Tactical Imagery Intelligence Wing (TIW) will be dusting off their masks, collecting their capes from the dry cleaners and tying up their aprons for the day to join Anthony Nolan in raising money and awareness in the battle to cure blood cancer.
In support of the Wings’ chosen charity, personnel will be paying to dress up as their favourite super hero. There will be opportunities to see the super-heroes in action at the ‘heroes’ PT sessions of football and netball matches and to sample some hero cakes, which will be distributed around the station by batmobile! There will also be the opportunity to be a real life super hero and potentially save someone’s life by joining the Anthony Nolan bone marrow register – and you don’t even need to wear your underpants on the outside of your trousers!
We know we’re all real life heroes at Marham, but now is your opportunity to show your work colleagues your inner super hero, if you want to join in the fun on 22nd November by either dressing up for the day, participating in one of the sports events or attend the Anthony Nolan Clinic please contact Miss Janet Qualters at TIW Ext: 6292.
