Dads R Us at Marham Library 2013

Well, what a time we have had! Marham Library recently hosted ‘Dads R Us,’ a group which aims to give Dads and their children quality time combined with fun activities.

Adult Education Family learning ran a ten week course of fun and communication, which included celebrating Australia day, making special gifts for Mums on Mother’s day, designing  and making dinosaur and mammoth puppets, exploring textures of clay and having fun with faces, and carrying out science fun activities together.

The course has brought the children closer to their Dads and everyone has enjoyed this quality time together, enhancing communications and trying new things.

Here are some of the comments (from the Dads!):
“The most fun I have had since GCSE Art”

“Great to spend some quality time one to one with my son”

“My son has come on leaps and bounds in the short time we have been attending the course”

“Excellent opportunities not to be missed”

“The best way to spend a Saturday morning”

“My children and I really enjoyed this course and would like to do more of the same”
