Consultative Surgeries

The Community Support Hub operates a number of free advice surgeries from their Office throughout the month.

If you have a problem and need advice why not take advantage of the opportunity of speaking to a professional. Contact the Hive to make an appointment to see any of our visiting consultants.

The surgeries cover such matters as Legal Advice, Financial Planning, Citizens Advice Bureau and The Family Mediation Service.

Legal Advice Last Wednesday of Each Month
Sara Plummer from Ward Gethin and Archer, a local company of Solicitors writes: I visit the HIVE at RAF Marham at least once a month, usually on the last Wednesday of each month.

I can provide 30 minutes free legal advice on any topic and although I specialise in family matters, such as breakdowns of relationships, divorce, children issues, financial issues following a separation or pre-nuptial agreements, I can also assist with other issues from property matters, Wills/Probate, employment, general disputes and much more. By visiting the HIVE service, personnel and their families can see me on their doorsteps.

Financial Planning Third Wednesday of Each Month
This surgery is conducted by Shaun Button a local Financial Advisor. If you have a financial query why not call in to see Shaun who offers advice on the following services:

• Investments
• Retirement Planning
• Protecting Investments
• Personal and Family Protection

He can also arrange advice on a number of finance related subjects and has access to carefully selected external providers who represent the best of breed in their respective fields and are capable of delivering the high standards of service expected. The services included within this area are Mortgage Advisers, Insurance Brokers, Accountants and Solicitors.

Citizens Advice Bureau Each Thursday Morning
CAB is a well founded national advice service and aims to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.

The advice is designed to help people resolve their problems with debt, benefits, employment, housing, discrimination, and many more issues. It is available to everyone.

CAB provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities and values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination.

During 2010/11 CAB helped 2.1 million people to solve 7.1 million problems.

The Family Mediation Service First and Third Tuesday Morning of Each Month
Mediation is about resolving divorce and separation issues without a painful and expensive legal battle.
