Collection in Aid of SSAFA

Not content with being an active Community Volunteer for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA), Corporal Stephen Sanderson decided to hold a collection in aid of SSAFA at II (AC) Squadron’s Christmas function at the Hereward Arms, raising £112 in the process.

On a blustery morning recently, the cheque was duly presented to Deborah Stewart, the Chair of RAF Marham’s In-Service Committee by Wing Commander Nick Tucker-Lowe, Officer Commanding II (AC) Squadron. Mrs Stewart expressed her gratitude on behalf of the committee and serving personnel along with their families here at RAF Marham, who will benefit directly from this donation.

If anyone is considering raising money for charity, please remember that anything raised for SSAFA remains here at RAF Marham for our benefit.

For details of fund-raising events or how to obtain a collection box to have in your place of work, please contact Deborah RAF Marham SSAFA chair via the HIVE/CS Hub.
