Christmas Fair

This years’ Christmas Fair was located at Marham Infant School and a big thank you is offered to Head Teacher Michaela Webb. Mrs Webb, her staff team and helpers worked tirelessly in helping prepare the school for the event and then restoring it back again ready for school on Monday morning.

The day dawned cold and very frosty, very fitting weather for the ice rink which proved hugely popular. In excess of 30 exhibitors were welcomed to the event with goods ranging from pocket money toys, books and sweets to colourful pashminas and handbags.

The children from Marham Infant School worked tirelessly all day long on an enterprise which involved selling teas, cakes and crafts. The young people from Marham Youth Centre provided the delicious hog roast and ran the decorating biscuits workshop, both a great success. The music group from Marham Youth Centre kept the crowds entertained at intervals throughout the day.

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to making the day the huge success that it was, and a special thank you to Lou Goodier who helped to organise the whole event.
