Charity Easter Egg Bike Ride 2014
Over the Easter weekend RAF Marham Motorcycle Club will be delivering Easter Eggs to two Norfolk Charities; Break and the Benjamin Foundation. Both provide children’s homes, with the Benjamin Foundation also providing supported accommodation for homeless teenagers across Norfolk.
The delivery locations are in residential areas hence the number of riders has been limited to 15, with the rider list now full. With all bikes revved up and ready to go, the main aim now is to collect as many chocolate eggs as possible. Please donate generously to the collection point in the HiVE or GD Flight!!
The delivery locations for the ride will be; King’s Lynn, Thetford, Long Stratton, Great Yarmouth, North Walsham, and finally Fakenham. Volunteer car drivers will also accompany the riders; to provide assistance in transporting the eggs. With the unpredictable weather the Club members have agreed that as a last resort the deliveries will be made in cars but everyone is praying for sunshine or at least a dry day!
RAF Marham Motorcycle Club is proud to be undertaking this charity event. Sgt Nina Lines organiser of the event added; “I hope everyone will give generously to support this event and we can show children who have not had a fortunate start in life that there are may people who genuinely care. It would be fantastic to beat the 2012 total of delivering 320 Easter eggs!”
Please support this event by donating your Easter Eggs and help make this event an outstanding success – thank you!
