A cheque presentation has taken place with the Station Commander at RAF Marham as the fire section at RAF Marham, have held a car wash fundraiser the week commencing 8th August 2016. The funds raised will go towards the Marham Kili Climb team, who as part of the Marham 100 events are going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the RAFBF (RAF Benevolent Fund).

Images of the 31 Squadron church ceremony to hand over its 30 year old Squadron Standard to Holy Trinity Church in the Marham Village. The ceremony was attended by a large number of 31 Squadron personnel and their families. OC 31 Squadron, Wg Cdr Freeborough, was passed the standard by the squadrons standard party which was then handed over by the OC to the Holy Trinity Church Vicar. The standard will now be displayed on the wall of the church for the rest of its time.

The Royal Norfolk Show (RNS) is the largest public, 2 day county show held in England, and is an event which the military in Norfolk regularly supports. Due to this being RAF Marham's Centenary year, and the importance of the Stn both presently and in the future to the region, the RAF's involvement in the 2016 RNS is of even greater significance this year. Accordingly, the RNS are offering sgnificant opportunity to the RAF by providing numerous areas in which the Stn can advertise its' role in Defence, and acrosse the wider local community.

On the 16th May 2016, Public Services students from the College of West Anglia and Easton and Otley College visited RAF Marham. The students took part in motivational outreach team exercises at the station gym before transiting to 31 Squadron for an overview and walk around a Tornado GR4 Jet.

Demolition of Hangar 3 in preperation for the arrival of the lightning aircraft started today, the 13th May 2016, at RAF Marham. Representatives of all those involved in the project alongside various media guests were present to whitness the beginning of a new era. Station Commander Group Captain Rich Davies ADC MA RAF and Lightning Force Commander Air Commodore Harvey Smyth OBE DFC ADC MA RAF both attended the event and posed for photographs infront of the iconic hangar.
