On Thursday 20th October, the team preparing to ascent Mt Kilamanjaro to raise money for the RAF Benevolent fund in light of Marham's 100th year anniversary event, including the Stn Cdr's wife, Kate Davies, departed from RAF Marham with a vehicle pack full of supplies and kit. RAF Marham personnel attended the renaming ceremony of the Torndao Steam locomotive at Nene Valley Railway Station on the 26th August 2016. The day presented an oppurtunity for the personnel to develop their knowledge of the Tornado Steam Locomotive, its operation, maintenance and its newly affiliated status with RAF Marham. The Station Commander Group Captain Rich Davies ADC MA RAF unveiled the name plaque alongside the locomotives creators before all the personnel had the oppurtunity to gets hands on driving the steam locomotive.

A cheque presentation has taken place with the Station Commander at RAF Marham as the fire section at RAF Marham, have held a car wash fundraiser the week commencing 8th August 2016. The funds raised will go towards the Marham Kili Climb team, who as part of the Marham 100 events are going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the RAFBF (RAF Benevolent Fund).

Images of the 31 Squadron church ceremony to hand over its 30 year old Squadron Standard to Holy Trinity Church in the Marham Village. The ceremony was attended by a large number of 31 Squadron personnel and their families. OC 31 Squadron, Wg Cdr Freeborough, was passed the standard by the squadrons standard party which was then handed over by the OC to the Holy Trinity Church Vicar. The standard will now be displayed on the wall of the church for the rest of its time.
