Battle of Britain Opening Ceremony & Freedom of Norwich Parade

The Royal Air Force Association Battle of Britain opening ceremony took place at Norwich City Hall on Monday 12th September.

The Standard of No 2620 (County of Norfolk) Squadron RAuxAF Regt was paraded, supported by two armed flights of RAF Marham personnel. RAF Marham also exercised the Freedom of the City for the first time since receiving the honour in 2008.The parade was accompanied by the Band of the Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, and was reviewed by Councillor Jenny Lay, The Lord Mayor of Norwich.
