Annual RAF Formation Celebration Dinner

Celebration Dinner
Members of King’s Lynn and Downham Branches welcomed Wg Cdr Ken Wallis as the guest speaker at their annual RAF formation celebration dinner, which was held on 10th April.

Wg Cdr Wallis (pictured second left) served for 25 years in the RAF, flying with Bomber Command and winning a number of patents for his inventions, before finding later fame with his autogyro Little Nellie, flown by him in the James Bond film You Only Live Twice. Wg Cdr Wallis is pictured shaking hands with Association President, and fellow Wg Cdr Vic Stapley.  Also pictured are, from left Roger Broscomb, (Area Councillor) Mac Tucker (Chairman) Michael Forster (Hon Sec).
