Airplay Youth Centre

King's Lynn and West Norfolk-20130731-00225

The six week summer holidays saw a hive of activity at the Airplay Youth Centre at Marham.

Young people aged 8-18 years engaged in a whole host of activities which included paintballing, art and crafts, cookery, quasar laser, graffiti, football, archery, climbing, survival camps, music workshops, trips to the seaside and Wicksteed Park! Every activity was well attended and over 40 young people took advantage of the Airplay summer scheme. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the summer activities so successful!

The Airplay weekly programme has now restarted and provides regular activities for local young people aged 8-18 years (they do not have to be RAF dependants). These include Youth Clubs for 8-11’s, 11-13’s and 13+, Jammin’ music workshops and a Cookery Club. Airplay will also be running a Half Term trip at the end of October to Battle-Stations Laser Combat in Thetford for 8-18’s (date TBC). Places cost £10 per person and include three hours of play and lunch, but are limited so book early to avoid disappointment! Booking forms will be available at The Hive and the Youth Centre.
