Q: I have just arrived at Marham; where is the nearest supermarket?
A: Nearest shop is the Spar near the Main Gate; but nearest 24 hour Supermarket is Tesco at Hardwick Road, King’s Lynn, PE30 4NA.

Q: Where is the local doctor surgery?
A: You can register with the Regional Medical Centre on station.

Q: Where can I get some information on the local area?
A: There is loads of information in the HIVE in the Community Support Hub in the Shop Parade opposite the Married Quarters.

Q: Where can I get access to the internet?
A: Access to the internet is available in the Community Support Hub during working hours; this service is free and open to all living at RAF Marham.

Q: I’m posted, where can I get information on my new unit?
A: The HIVE information Service provides information on all units and can be tailored to your requirements.

Q: I’m posted and need to apply for a new accommodation, how do I do this?
A: You will need to apply for SFA using the e-1132 (electronic version of the old Form1132), idea as you can track your application without calling the Housing Allocations Service Centre.

Q: Is there a station information booklet?
A: All information is now on the Community Support Website which is regularly update, so you get the latest information on clubs, events and much more. Go to www.marhamhub.co.uk.

Q: I wish to volunteer to help the community, how can I get involved?
A: Come and see us in the Community Support Hub and we will give you information on where volunteers are needed.

Q: Does the Station provide arrival briefs?
A: Yes, station hold arrival briefings for all posted into RAF Marham, details provide as part of station arrivals; The Community Support team at RAF Marham hold spouses and partners briefing on the 1st Friday of the month in St. Andrew’s Church (just before the barrier) more details from the Community Support Hub.

Q: I have an old sofa to dispose of, what do I do?
A: There are several ways to dispose of unwanted furniture and white goods, Charity Shops in the local area will collect and recycle your unwanted items, the local council will collect but do charge or you can ask the shop where you purchased your new item from if they recycle your old items. Please do not fly tip if not sure come to the Community Support Hub or go to the website www.marhamhub.co.uk.
