1st RAF Marham Brownies

The 1st RAF Marham Brownies have returned from the Easter holidays refreshed from a very busy start to the year.

The girls enjoyed the Duck Challenge that saw them going ‘quackers’ with games, crafts and cooking all with a duck theme. After successfully completing a series of Duck challenges the brownies that had participated received their Duck Challenge badges. We celebrated Valentines Day with cards and made some fantastic clay baskets filled with chocolate eggs for Easter. A group of brownies took up the challenge of a sponsored walk around Brandon Country Park raising funds for the pack.

Now that the girls are all rested after the Easter break they have returned with some exciting challenges and events planned for the coming months. We are planning to take the brownies on a weekend Pack Holiday at the end of June and a further one later on in the year where the Wonderland and Wizard of Oz challenge badges will be earned. Keeping the theme of Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of Oz going we are planning another Musical Extravaganza before the Summer Holidays. The girls had such a good time with the previous play of Goldifrocks and Snow Bright that another play was top of their wish list of things to do so watch this space for further details.

If you are aged between 7 – 10 years and you would like to join us on our Brownie adventure please contact Brown Owl, Jacky Walsingham on 01760 339513.
